Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor is all set to tie the knot with her longtime beau Anand Ahuja. Anand Ahuja is Delhi based businessman. Sonam Kapoor is daughter of veteran actor Anil Kapoor. The preparations are in full swing and both Kapoor-Ahuja Khandaan are very excited. According to one of the newspapers, their marriage will take place in Mumbai.
Why has the couple chosen India for marriage?
It was buzz that the actress will exchange her wedding vows somewhere outside India and Switzerland was reported the top most in the list. But, it is now reported that the duo is keen on getting married in India itself. They are not looking for any international venue. Sonam Kapoor shared that she believes that doing rituals is important. Spending money on marriage is wasteful She would rather give that money away.
The wedding dates are said to be 7 and 8 May. The invites will be sent soon to family, friends and guests. The wedding ceremonies will be held at various places. Her home, a five-star hotel and her aunt’s residence in Bandra are the venues for the wedding celebration. Their wedding will be held at Sonam’s aunt’s residence on 8th May and the reception will be hosted the same night in a luxurious hotel. The other ceremonies like sangeet and mehendi ceremonies will start from May 7.
