The rumours of Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor and her business beau Anand Ahuja have been highlighting from long. In fact, few days before the dates of wedding, venues and how the functions would be held shared by media. In spite of all this, the confirmation of this lovely couple and their families were awaited. Well… all the speculations about their marriage were right. The families of Sonam and Anand have officially announced their shadi on May 1. Soon after this, the wedding invites of the love birds have been doing the rounds on social media. Wedding invites
The card looks pretty amazing. In the invites, people can see that there are three separate cards for the three separate functions – mehendi, the wedding and a party. These events will be held over 7th and 8th May. The duo has chosen to express the love for nature. The invites have shades of green with three different designs of foliage printed on them. In these photos of the invite, detailed itinerary of the two-day wedding festivities are mentioned. In fact, Sonam and Anand opted for e-invites to skip wastage of paper.
Itinerary of wedding festivities
The mehendi ceremony will take place in the evening of May 7 at the Sunteck, Signature Island in Bandra. The wedding will take place at Rockdale (which is reported to be the bungalow of Sona’s aunt) as the venue. The timing mentioned for the day wedding is 11 am to 12 pm. There is a party in the evening at The Leela in Mumbai that concludes wedding festivities.
The wedding invites have mentioned dress codes for the separate functions. Apart from this, Kapoors and Ahuja’s have also added a little note: “Your presence on our special day is the only gift we desire.”
