The Sanjay Dutt’s biopic named Sanju has created a buzz already. The Bollywood aficionados are already spreading the word and it has sure become a very anticipated movie. From featuring Sonam Kapoor to Anushka Sharma, the movie has all the tadka and thrill you need to watch.
The latest poster of Sanju featured actress Anushka Sharma, and everybody was pondering on her role in the movie. While Anushka looks like a fresh face into the industry, the charm on her face is formidable. Donning curly hair, Anushka pierced into the camera and smiled brightly.
Director Rajkumar Hirani shared the poster on his official Twitter account and wrote: “And here is my dear friend Anushka. It’s a special appearance….but she worked on every nuance of the role for days together. Can anyone guess who she plays?….Will reveal tomorrow at the trailer launch. @AnushkaSharma #RanbirKapoor #RajkumarHiraniFilms @VVCFilms @foxstarhindi.”
If rumours are to be believed, Anushka was playing the role of a journalist in the biopic. However, the actress junked the rumours citing that she’s the sole fictional character in the film.
“I am doing a cameo in the film but you all should be very excited for it. It will be a very good film. I am not playing his girlfriend, or a journalist, my character is the only fictional character in the film. It is not based on any living person that much I can tell,” she had told the media.
Hirani had promised all the netizens that he would reveal the role today. She has worked with the director in PK. What’s more interesting is that Anushka will be working with Ranbir for the third time after films like Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
Sanjay Dutt’s biopic revolves around revealing the life of father Sunil Dutt, his struggles both personally and professionally. It also delves into the situation when Sanjay was overcoming the loss of his mother. The film also co-stars Sonam Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Vicky Kaushal, Manisha Koirala and Dia Mirza, and is slated to hit the screens on June 29.
