Student of the Year 2 Poster has recently surfaced on social media featuring Tiger Shroff, the new student in the “coolest school ever”. This is the sequel to the popular franchise Student of the Year that was released in 2012. The first part of the movie launched Alia Bhatt, Siddharth Malhotra, and Varun Dhawan in Bollywood and all three of them have made their own identity in the industry today.
Talking about the sequel, it will be directed by Punit Malhotra who also directed the flick I Hate Luv Storys and Gori Tere Pyar Mein, made under Dharma Productions. It will star Tiger Shroff as the lead actor while the female lead hasn’t been decided yet. Although names like Sara Ali Khan and Disha Patani were doing the rounds, the makers have not confirmed anything yet.
Karan Johar, the producer of the franchise shared the SOTY2 poster on his official twitter handle. Take a look at the poster:

The actor Tiger Shroff also tweeted the poster expressing gratitude towards the makers of the film:

As per the reports, unlike the first part which was a love triangle featuring 2 heroes and 1 heroine, the sequel is going to be a solo-hero movie. However, it may have two female actors in the lead. The film will go on floors in 2018. Besides, Tiger will also be seen in other flicks like Baaghi 2, the remake of the Rambo series and another movie that also stars Hrithik Roshan.
