Trouble brewing in the Indian team was the topic of discussion a few days back. Things were not right between coach Anil Kumble and Virat Kohli. And as a result, the Kohli-Kumble saga finally came to an end resulting in Anil Kumble stepping down from the post of the head coach of the Indian cricket team.

His exit came as shocking news for cricket fans due to his reputation as a cricketer. In his one-year tenure, he sincerely performed his duties as a coach.

The rumors said that Virat Kohli was not happy with the coaching style of Kumble.

The BCCI (BOARD OF CONTROL FOR CRICKET IN INDIA) tried to solve the clash between the two with no positive outcome

Now the BCCI is looking for the replacement for the post of the head coach of the Indian cricket team. The new coach for the world’s number one Test team will be decided by the three-man advisory committee of Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, and VVS Laxman.

As per the records, BCCI has received 10 CVs — Shastri, Virender Sehwag, Tom Moody, Richard Pybus, Dodda Ganesh, Lalchand Rajput, Lance Klusener, Rakesh Sharma, Phil Simmons and Upendranath Brahmachari.

However, the Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) will interview only six of the 10 candidates.

According to the sources, the six likely candidates are Shastri, Sehwag, Moody, Simmons, Pybus, and Rajput.

After the Kumble-Kohli saga, the Cricket Advisory Committee will have to be cautious in its choice as the new coach will be given a two-year contract.

The Cricket Advisory Committee will have to face a tough call in deciding the captain of the Indian Cricket Team. We hope that BCCI’s decision will be in the interest of the Indian cricket team. We sincerely wish that the team delivers the best performance in the upcoming matches.
