Digital India, an initiative that enhanced the vision of India and on the same platform let the world perceive a beginning of a new India. Digital India is an initiative of the Government of India to ensure that government services are made available to citizens electronically by improving online infrastructure and by increasing internet connectivity. It was launched on 1 July 2015 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Recently there are four young brand ambassadors appointed for the new mission Digital India, where their services will be put in a flow for mass awareness whenever required.
The four brand ambassadors according to the report released by the Department of Telecom are Satvat Jagwani, Krati Tiwari, Ankit Fadia, and Pranav Mistry.
Let’s unleash their profiles a bit
1. Satvat Jagwani:
The youngest brand ambassador of Digital India Satvat Jagwani is the 17 year old All India IIT-JEE Advanced Topper of the year 2015 that glided him to the heights of success by not only accommodating a place in IIT Powai but also becoming a brand ambassador of digital India. This boy from Madhya Pradesh is ambitious, tech savvy, inspirational and dedicated.
2. Krati Tiwari:
Krati Tiwari is also Advanced IIT –JEE topper among girls. She also hails from Madhya Pradesh and is the topper among 3,049 girls who cracked IIT –JEE. She is the only female brand ambassador featuring in this program of Digital India. The reports says that Krati used to travel 35 kms to Indore daily from Mhow. She successfully cleared the test in her first attempt securing the 47th rank. She is one laborious girl who believes in achieving her dreams at any cost.
3. Ankit Fadia:
Well, reportedly Ankit Fadia, the controversial hacker and author has been seen trolled on social media, but this Ethical hacker has been named as one of the brand ambassador of Digital India. Ankit Fadia contributed in accounting 16 books in his account and also conducts lectures on ethical hacking. He is quite interactive with young generation and delivered lectures in almost all renowned colleges and universities.
He has also starred in an MTV show “What the Hack” and also maintains a YouTube channel “Geek on the Loose” where he shares the latest technology, some tips and tricks from his end.
His claims have been questioned, his website hacked numerous times and he was awarded with the “Security Charlatan of the Year” award at DEF CON 20 — one of the world’s oldest hacker conventions.
On the note of digital India he summons up saying-
- To promote the components of the initiative on social media and on personal media.
- To participate in any Digital India event when I am asked to.
- Sometime provide with inputs on digital projects when asked to.
At quite a young age, he started writing his tutorials on hackingtruths.box.sk which pushed him to pen down his own book.
4. Pranav Mistry:
The very famous author of “Sixth Sense” Pranav Mistry, who has been awarded with Invention Award by Popular Science in 2009, is another name to be supporting India as the brand ambassador of Digital India. Pranav Mistry is a computer scientist and author by profession. He currently holds the place of Global Vice President of Research at Samsung, USA. His expertise made him acquiring skills from top milestones of the world; he has worked in Google, Microsoft, CMU, NASA, UNESCO, Japan Science and Technology before joining Samsung.
He came under lights for his humongous work on Samsung Galaxy Gear and Project Beyond. He has many inventions in his account such as Mouseless, which is an invisible computer mouse, Quickies which are intelligent sticky notes, and invented a pen that draw in 3D.
In 2013, he was honored as one of the Young Global Leader for the year 2013 by World Economic Forum.
Well, with these razor-sharp minds, it seems Digital India will elevate to a new heights and acquire a world position.
