The very famous cricketer Harbhajan Singh is famous for his controversies along with the achievements. He had always made India proud of his bowling and been the backbone of Indian bowling line-up since his entry in the Indian Cricket. The ‘Gabru’ belongs to the Jalandhar city of Punjab. He has recently been in news for a good reason as he got married to his lady love Geeta Basra, who was a model turned actress into Bollywood. The couple was dating since a long time and tied knot on October 29, 2015 in his hometown Jalandhar.
They have not even completed one year of their marriage and the two just got another reason to celebrate. The love birds are blessed with a baby girl. Every Indian knowing about the news is celebrating including the fans of Harbhajan Singh. The news was confirmed by Bhajji’s mother, Avtar Kaur.
It was the month of June when a lavish baby shower was organized by the couple to pamper the soon to-be-mother. The yummy mummy and the lucky father along with the child are in a London hospital, where the delivery took place on Thursday morning. Avtar Kaur confirmed that both the mother and baby are healthy.
The veteran spinner and all-rounder is yet to crack the news on his official social media. But the fans are so excited about the news that they are pouring their wishes for the couple since afternoon. Everyone is wishing the couple a happy parenthood.
Apart from this, there are certain other achievements of Harbhajan Singh as a part of Indian team. Following are some of them:
- Although the cricketer has retired from international cricket but has made several records and achievements till date in his career like being a spinner, he has scored two test centuries both against New Zealand, which is commendable.
- The player won 3 “Man of the Series” awards in Test Cricket and made is fans proud of him. Infact, the whole country is proud of him.
- Also, he won “Man of the Match” award 6 times in the test cricket.
- It is not that Bhajji only performed in test cricket, he has several achievements in the One-Day International (ODI) cricket as well. He was rewarded 3 times “Man of the Match” award.
