I know Sundar will be focused on innovation: Larry Page
A 43 year-old, India born, IIT read, Google manager has made it to new heights and is all to be the new CEO of Google, and the news is sending a fresh wave of enthusiasm among youngsters. Sundar Pichai’s rise is being seen as phenomenal, as he gets placed on the prestigious position of CEO. Google recently announced the launch of a new company Alphabet, said to be the parent operator after Google Inc. went through some massive restructuring recently, and will be operated by Larry Page, Serge Brin and Ruth Porat. Soon after this announcement of a new company, Google announced a new CEO for the former. The dedicated nature of Sundar Pichai spoke volumes for him and has been responsible for elevating him to this new level. Page elaborated, “What is Alphabet? Alphabet is mostly a collection of companies. The largest of which, of course, is Google. ”
Previously in-charge of product and engineering of Google’s internet businesses, Sundar Pichai will be CEO of Google Inc. after the recent structuring and will be responsible for the management of Alphabet’s new Google subsidiary. Larry highlighted, Mr. Pichai, who is a graduate of IIT Kharagpur and Stanford University “really stepped up since October of last year, when he took on product and engineering responsibility for our Internet businesses”, Larry recently posted on his blog while showcasing his cards. He further posted, Mr. and Mrs. Brin (Sergey Brin is the co-founder of Google with Larry Page) is seamlessly excited about this initiative. He said “Sergey and I have been super excited about Sundar Pichai’s progress and dedication to the company.”
Sundar Pichai, who belongs to Tamil Nadu, in the southern peninsula, is a man to make many. He is said to be hardworking and dedicated. Where the graph of Mr. Pichai is seamlessly rising from the Vice president, Senior Vice President charged with supervision over all Google apps like Gmail, Google drive and finally landed for Android control. The responsibilities will include the search business, YouTube and the Android and Chrome operating systems.
Ceasar Sengupta, who had worked with Pichai before, calls him a skilled diplomat, who is adored by all the employees and authorities. Prime Minister Modi also congratulated Pichai on social media for his miraculous success. Pichai being a progressive element has made history for Indians by placing his name in the legendary league after Satya Nadella (Microsoft CEO). Google has a new CEO and Indians a new hero and inspiration. Many congratulations and we couldn’t be more proud!
