  • Kapil Sharma’s father was a head constable in the Punjab Police posted in Amritsar and died due to cancer before Kapil actually became a star which was his father’s dream.
  • Whenever asked, Kapil always says that he has inherited his amazing sense of humour from his mother.
  • After winning the Great Indian Laughter Challenge, he spent the entire price money on his sister’s wedding which he claims was the most lavish wedding in his family.
