The star-studded movie, which it is, Thugs Of Hindostan looks like a revolutionary movie with all things phenomenal. The trailer which features Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Katrina Kaif has finally released today.
A story which looks promising, a high-budget production and an iconic star cast, Thugs of Hindostan look like it can be the next blockbuster of all times.
The movie has been directed by Dhoom fame Vijay Krishna Acharya, while the production has been done under the YRF banner. The film is based on the Philip Meadows Taylor’s bestselling novel about the Kali-worshipping Thuggee, Confessions of a Thug set in the early 19th century.
Amir Khan is essaying the role of firangi, while Amitabh is playing the role of Khudabaksh, Katrina is seen as Suraiyya and Fatima is seen as Zafira. The film will release nationwide on November 8, 2018.
The trailer launch event was as phenomenal as the movie. Here’s what Amir Khan said: “Here come the Thugs! Its a big day for all of us. Missing Yash ji. Wish he was here with us. I hope that TOH will make your Diwali a fun and enjoyable ride!”.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh also shared the Thugs of Hindostan trailer and said, “A cinematic extravaganza, indeed… #ThugsOfHindostan should compete with the biggest and the best at the ticket windows… A big screen spectacle that should set the BO on… Get ready for Tsunami at the BO… #TOHTrailer #ThugsOfHindostanTrailer”.
This is what an insider said: “Since sea and ships play an integral part in the plot, Aamir and Aditya Chopra were sure that they would go all out to present the biggest spectacle that Hindi cinema has ever witnessed. The film’s budgets are yet to be ascertained, but the cost for the two ships easily runs into several crores.”
