TripAdvisor has some dark horses in its list of India’s most attractive tourist destinations!

No one can deny the fact that those 7 wonders of the world have actually given worldwide recognition to their home cities. We have been made to acknowledge that Paris is known for Eiffel Tower and Agra is known for Taj Mahal. The same concept applies at national level too. The way Taj Mahal represents India around the world; there are some very famous Indian tourist attractions which perform like a branding image for various simple cities of our country. But as a surprise to many, most of them are dark horses when compared to other ultra famous destinations.

It was recently that TripAdvisor refreshed India’s most attractive destinations list known as “traveller’s choice landmarks list”, and Amritsar people are quite happy about it. After all, the famous Golden Temple has successfully ranked itself at the 3rd spot.

TripAdvisor is an international level travel planning website which has been helping all fanatic and regular travel lovers in choosing their next destination.

Amritsar’s Golden Temple is a beautiful destination to add in your check list and because of its serene ambience; Harmandir Sahib’s Gurudwara is now the 3rd most attractive tourist destination in India. Amazingly the temple runs one of the largest free kitchens of the world, serving an average of 1, 00,000 people daily.

At the 5th spot, it is Delhi’s 100 acre area covering Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple which superbly showcases examples of how all the architectural masterpieces in India look like. It is also World’s Largest Comprehensive Hindu Temple according to the Guinness World Records.

Jaipur’s Amber Fort gained the 8th spot in the same list that we are talking about. The way it perfectly amalgamates Rajput and Mughal architecture, Rani Jodha’s abode has always attracted numerous tourists towards its yellow grandeur.

The other dark horses of this race by TripAdvisor are Sindhivinayak Temple (Mumbai), Agra Fort (Agra), Qutub Minar (Delhi), Mehrangarh Fort (Jodhpur), and Gurudwara Bangla Sahib (Delhi).
