A non-cognizable offence under Section 494 has been filed against twin sisters from Mumbai who entered into an unusual agreement to marry the same man. The wedding took place in Maharashtra’s Solapur district, and videos of the event went viral, shocking social media users.

According to a PTI report, the twin sisters Rinky and Pinky are 36 years old and have agreed to marry Atul, as have both of their families. According to reports, Rinky, Pinky, and Atul have been living in the same house since childhood, and after the death of Rinky-father, Pinky’s Atul assisted the family.

It was no secret wedding, as seen in the video. The names of the brides and grooms were prominently displayed at the event location. Many people can be seen cheering for the twin sisters who attempted to garland the groom, who was on the shoulders of a few men, as is customary in Hindu wedding rituals. The twin sisters attempted to garland Atul at the same time and both failed. The jaimala were then placed on him one by one.
