valentine-week

It’s that time of the year when all the couples and people in love get excited about showing their partners how deeply they care for each other and celebrate the Valentine’s Day with great fervor. The celebration is not just for a day, an entire Valentine week is dedicated to the occasion whereby each day has its own importance.

The week starts with Rose Day celebrated on 7th February and ends with Valentine’s Day on 14th February, every year. In between, there are Rose Day, Chocolate Day, Teddy Day, etc. whereby people exchange gifts and express their love to each other.

Here’s the complete schedule of the Valentine Week that is to be followed by all the lovers:

• 7th February, Rose Day
• 8th February, Propose Day
• 9th February, Chocolate Day
• 10th February, Teddy Day
• 11th February, Promise Day
• 12th February, Hug Day
• 13th February, Kiss Day
• 14th February, Valentine’s Day

It is believed that this week is an ideal time for people who want to confess their love to their crush or start over with a new relationship after a breakup. Many also propose their partners for marriage as this week is considered to be the most romantic time of the year. During this week, people party, go on romantic dates and surprise their partners with special gestures.

Although the Valentine’s Day is as old as the hills, it has been taken to a whole new level in the past few years. There are various events and places get crowded at this time as it has become more of a trend to celebrate the Valentine week.

However, not all people are crazy about Valentine’s Day! There are some (read single people) who think it’s an unnecessarily hyped event. In fact, Valentine has become such a popular trend that people who are going through a breakup or those who don’t get a Valentine Date are likely to get annoyed and frustrated with the fact that they don’t have anyone to celebrate this festival of love.

If you are among those lovebirds who have to have a nice Valentine week, refer to the schedule above and have a great time. However, if you don’t have a partner just celebrate the day with your friends and enjoy the comedy sketches by popular YouTube channels, such as AIB, who take a jibe at couples and crack sarcastic jokes, just to have some fun. Either way, there’s a big chance that you’ll have your share of enjoyment!
