The trailer begins with aimless Mauji (Varun Dhawan) who works at shop and happy with that. On being inspired by his wife Mamta (Anushka Sharma), he decides to start his venture to gain his self-respect. The trailer amazingly portrayed their struggle of entrepreneurship from a sewing machine to their own small-scale handloom industry.
The trailer is quiet exciting. Well.. it is for the first time these two stars are coming together and sharing a sizzling chemistry. Based on a small-town Chanderi (Madhya Pradesh), both of them totally transformed their looks and have donned non-glamorous avatars. The trailer end with an interesting note as Anshuka is seen creating the name of company ‘Sui Dhaaga Made in India’ by embroiding it is truly inspirational. Undoubtedly, the movie has been motivated by the Central government’s ‘Make in India’ campaign. It is produced by Maneesh Sharma and directed by Sharat Katariya under the banner of Yash Raj Film.
