The story of Rajasthan is the story of the largest state of the country. Rajasthan, a state which is on the rise, a state which has been made even more fascinating by the state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje. She decided to meet the many challenges and the state has beautifully overcome them, yet there are many more it has to face. The state’s political leaders, other policy makers and industrialists come together to discuss the possibilities for the betterment of the state and its people at the Business Standard Rajasthan Round Table 2016.

Rajasthan has undoubtedly seen a turnover under CM Raje’s governance. Her announcements in the2016 budget showed how determined she is regarding growth of various skills & talents of her state. Opposition raised various questions about the work being done in the state. People said that Vashundhara Raje only made promises during the elections and while presenting the budget but the stats speak for themselves. Raje has taken Rajasthan to a whole new level. From making Rajasthan the number state under PM Modi’s clean India campaign by constructing the highest number of toilets to making Rajasthan rank number 6 in the top destinations in Asia, Rajasthan as a state, has certainly emerged as a global state.

Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje lately became the part of the Business Standard Rajasthan Round Table 2016 held in the beautiful pink city Jaipur. While addressing, she said that Rajasthan is much more than the desert and palaces. Rajasthan was much more than historic fortresses and palaces, Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje said on Wednesday, outlining her government’s key priorities as job creation, boosting agriculture, skill training and promoting start-ups. “Beyond fortresses and palaces, Rajasthan is also a very modern and upward-mobile state, which is constantly rediscovering itself,” she said.

She further emphasised on her development projects and said, “Today the Rajasthan Model of Development, based on the triad of social justice, effective governance and job creation is working to ensure continued growth and progress. Our understanding is that we do not live in an economy alone but also in a society. And that is why our residents are part of a conversation – the time for monologue is long past. Technology allows our citizens to ask questions and get answers – their government is truly theirs.” She believes that good governance is the sole root of development in any state and she is not leaving any stone unturned in taking the state to a higher notch as far as she is responsible. She keeps the people of her state on the priority and why not when they are her only strength. She said, “We organized the ‘Nyay Aapke Dwarcampaign which saw revenue officials conducting camps to resolve court matters, issue certificates and counsel families and neighbours on disputes. The outcomes have been startling. In more than 20,000 camps, 522 GPs were declared litigation free; 15 lakh revenue records were updated. More than 69 lakh families have been benefited in these camps.”

Vasundhara Raje and her team Rajasthan has brought changes that no government was able to and neither the residents of the state ever thought. The state government has put in Rs 400 crore for skilling alone, which no other government in the country has done. Isn’t that commendable? Education is the base of development and for the developed Rajasthan that we see years after from now. CM Raje is herself leading skill development from the front, & has been able to create a very successful programme in state. Rajasthan, under the leadership of Raje, has bagged the prestigious Skill Development Award two times in a row at the Skilling India Summit Cum Awards organized by ASSOCHAM committee. BJP has allotted approx 58 crores for installation of Centres of Excellence in 29 Industrial Training Institutes by the coming three years. Under CM Raje’s leadership Rajasthan has adopted model of convergence of Skill, Employment & Entrepreneurship and Over 65% of the youth who were trained through the skilling initiatives have found both employment and livelihood opportunities

There is no sector that has been left untouched in the state under her leadership. In her statement, focussing on her innovative scheme for providing access of good food to the people below the poverty line, she said, “In Rajasthan today we have Annapurna Bhandars – a public private partnership with the Future Group – to provide multi brand retail products of daily use at competitive prices.”

Ending her speech at the conference she said, “If India has to prosper in the true sense, we need to chart a course where co-operative federalism shall pave the path to inclusive growth, effective governance and sustainable resource management in all states. This can only happen when the welfare of the country comes before politics. As I often say, there is nothing wrong with India that India cannot rectify.”

We agree! Good Work Team Rajasthan. Keep Going 🙂
