CM Vasundhara Raje signs MoUs to strengthen the education system in Rajasthan

Nelson Mandela once said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world,” Walking on the same path Chief Minister of Rajasthan has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Monday with the GEMS Education to promote education and provide quality education to the youth of the state. The firm will adopt 50 Adarsh and Utkarsh Vidyalayas in the state and try to fill the infrastructure gap and will also contribute towards curriculum enhancement and capacity building.

On the occasion CM Raje said, “It would be a wonderful partnership. we are working with our sub groups, our officers, principals and teachers. We need everyone’s energy, passion and excitement in making Rajasthan intellectual capital of the country. With the help of groups like Gems Education we are going to do phenomenal changes in the education scenario of the state.”
CM Raje further laid emphasis and said, “We need to make our young generation a global citizen by equipping them with skill and education. Police department is doing exemplary work in providing self defence training to 48,000 school girls in Rajasthan.”

The organisation, GEMS education, will also adopt five District Institution of Education and Training (DIET) and State Institute of Education Research and Training (SIERT) Udaipur. “Gems Academy will jointly work with these institutions in areas of professional development and education leadership with the objective of improving teaching and learning process,” a release said.

Group President Gems Group Shri Amrish Chandra said, “The vision and phenomenal work Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje has done in government schools is exemplary. Gems Group is here to partner with the Govt. of Rajasthan to bring qualitative changes in education sector. The Radhakrishanan library of Jaipur is going to be exceptional library soon.”

This is not the first time CM Raje has taken a major step in the education field. Her far-sightedness, plans, policies, initiatives and schemes like Vivekanand Model Schools, Aadarsh Vidyalayas, Utkarsh Vidyalayas, Kasturba Gandhi Balika Avasiya Vidhyalya, Mukhyamantri Hamari Beti Yojana, Rajshri Yojana, Apni Beti Yojana and many others have transformed education in Rajasthan. On the occasion, Minister of State for School Education Shri Vasudev Devnani said, “The various schemes and initiatives taken by the state government during last two and half years have given new direction to the education sector.”

Education should be imparted with a view to the type of society that we want to build. We are working for a modern democracy built on the values of human dignity and equality. Our vision of the future must include these great principals. The end product of education should be a free creative man who can battle against historical circumstances and adversities of nature. CM Raje is leaving no stone unturned in making Rajasthan one of the best states for education, not only improving the quality education system in the state but also setting an example for the rest. With such far-sightedness and great efforts, the day is not far when Rajasthan joins the list of most educated states in India.
