Bad news for film fraternity as it lost its one more jewel. Veteran actor Shashi Kapoor died today. He was 79 years old. He was keeping up unwell for some time. He was admitted to the Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai due to illness.
Shashi Kapoor was also part of famous Kapoor family of Bollywood. He was the youngest and third son of Prithviraj Kapoor. In year 1961, Shashi Kapoor made his Bollywood debut with film Dharmputra. He was born 18 March 1938 as on Balbir Raj Kapoor. He was married to Jennifer Kendal and couple has three children Karan Kapoor, Sanjana Kapoor and Kunal Kapoor.
He had acted in more than 100 films. He was honoured with Padma Bhusan in 2011.In year 2015, Shashi Kapoor was awarded the Dadasaheb Phalke Award.
