Our Haryanvi Boxer Vijender Singh has been unbeatable since he commenced his professional career in the year 2015. This man has made his fans witness seven back to back wins since last year. It was this Wednesday that he entered the prestigious World Boxing Organization’s ranking and gained the 10th spot. Major credits for this esteemed WBO ranking goes to Vijender’s win at the Asia Pacific Super Middleweight Championship last month. It was a sturdy 10 round fight with former WBC European Champion Kerry Hope, but Vijender did it with his strength and now after seven wins out of which 6 were knockouts, he is an invincible boxing star.
On this new triumph Vijender Singh exclaimed saying, “It’s just the start for me, one day I want to be the No.1 in the world. That’s my dream and I am sure I will achieve it.”
In this ranking of World Boxing Organisation, Vijender stands above American boxing champion Trevor McCumby, who has twenty wins to his credit. While the boxer just above him is US-based Russian, Matt Korobov and he has 26 superb wins which got him the 9th rank. Before this new accomplishment our Vijender was mainly known as India’s first Olympic and World Championships medal winner but now as time and competition is gearing its pace, even Vijender with determined hard work, is gearing up to fight and win it all. Soon a time will come when Vijender Singh will beat WBO’s top ranker Jesse Hart of America. Hart is currently the North American Boxing Organization champion.
Our handsome boxer is to fight with Commonwealth champion Luke Blackledge next. Vijender’s trainers and other supporting team members of his are suggesting this new fight to be an easy one for Singh to win. Apparently he has won greater fights in the past and the one about to come is looking like a cakewalk.
