Trouble brewing in the Indian team between coach Anil Kumble and Virat Kohli is the hot topic these days. After the Indian cricket team lost the match to Pakistan in the ICC WORLD CUP 2017 finals, the dispute between Kohli and Kumble has taken a major turn. It is believed that Kumble being a ‘hard task-master’ did not go down well with the seniors but sources say players were happier with Ravi Shastri’s style of working.

As a result, the Kohli-Kumble saga finally came to an end on Tuesday evening resulting Anil Kumble stepping down from the post of the head coach of the Indian cricket team.

His exit was something no one wished after what he had done in his one-year tenure and also due to the reputation he enjoys as a cricketer.

Reports of rifts between Virat Kohli and Anil Kumble emerged as the team was getting ready to participate in the Champions Trophy 2017 tournament.

It is being said that Virat Kohli was not happy with the coaching style of Kumble but Kohli has not uttered a single word so far.   The BCCI (BOARD OF CONTROL FOR CRICKET IN INDIA) tried to solve the clash between the two but to no avail.

Now the BCCI is looking for the replacement for the post of the head coach of the Indian cricket team. The following 5 suggestions are being made for this post:

  • Virendra Sehwag
  • Tom Moody
  • Richard Pybus
  • Lalchand Rajput
  • Dodda Ganesh

We hope the decision of BCCI will be in the interest of the Indian cricket team. Undoubtedly, our Indian cricket team can conquer the mountain of success with perfection, hard work, and learning. We hope the new mentor will bring out the best in all players before the Indian team heads to Sri Lanka next month.
