You must have an idea about Rekha and Amitabh Bachchan’s rumored relationship in the 70s. The two actors in the late-seventies kept gossip columns busy back in the day.
Recently, photographer Dabboo Ratnani’s calendar launch on Monday night, however, was a little recalling. It gave us the best thing to watch on the internet.
Rekha, who was present at the launch this year, posed for the cameras. Interestingly, while posing for photos at the launch when she realized that she had accidentally stood in front of Amitabh Bachchan’s photograph on the wall, her reaction was priceless.
Veteran Actress gave a break to her signature Kanjeevaram Saree and was dressed in an all-black outfit, big cat-eye glasses, spiked shoes, and her usual deep red lip shade.
Filmmaker Yash Chopra in an interview during the film Silsila added fuel to the fire. He apparently said in the interview that Silsila was symbolic of what was supposedly happening in Amitabh, his wife Jaya Bachchan and Rekha’s lives back then.
In the years in between, both Amitabh and Rekha have mostly tried to not bump into each other at public events and if at the same place at the same time, they have been cordial to each other.
