Early to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy wealthy and wise, this nursery rhyme has been proved to be very helpful for those who have really implemented it in their real lives. But for the ones who do not sleep properly at night or early night. It is very necessary not only for a child but for an adult as well to sleep on time and get proper amount of sleep daily. There can be very bad side effects if sound sleep is not taken. Apart from it making us feel all refreshed and bringing a glow in our skin, there are many other benefits of sleeping early and sleeping sufficient amount of time. If you have not been sleeping early at night due to any reason be it your work, mobile, or your addiction to Netflix, I suggest you drop everything and start sleeping on time from today itself. You might be thinking why you should sleep early? Here’s why I suggest so:

  • Sleep is like giving your body and mind a mini-vacation. Sleep also gives your brain a chance to sort things out.
  • Most healthy adults shall sleep around 7.5 to 9 hours in the night to function at their best. Children and teenagers require the same amount of sleep.
  • Getting good sleep supplements medication for pain and our body heal and recover from the madness and tiredness of the day at night.
  • Sleep occupies nearly the 1/3 of our lives. But many of us surprisingly give little attention and care to it. It is a critical function during which your body balances and regulates its vital systems effecting respiration and regulating everything from circulation to growth and immune response.
  • If you do not sleep early or are anyway sleep deprived there are higher chances of gaining weight.
  • Sleep deprivation could also make you reach at higher risk for dementia and can make you to take poor decisions.
