The foundation of Sri Sri Ravishankar, popularly known as THE ART OF LIVING completed 35 years this year. To celebrate this special anniversary, the foundation is having a World Culture Festival from 11th March to 13th March. More than 36,000 artists from around the world are set to perform in this festival which offers the world’s largest state.

Excerpts from PM Modi’s inaugural speech would be good to know the essence of this World Cultural Festival.

“We are all linked not only by economy but also by culture.
I want to congratulate Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. His mission has spread all over the world, in various nations.
India is so diverse and it has so much to contribute to the world.
I want to welcome all of you to India

The Art of Living volunteers hoped the stage and the performances will consequently get them a place in the GMove to Trashuiness Book of world records. There was an attempt to see that litter was not thrown around. Volunteers were collecting plastic bottles and other useless stuff. Though Delhi monsoon showers tried to jeopardize some of the fun but things came back on track as a rainbow appeared in the sky after final showers of the evening, and brought back the cheering spirit among the volunteers. Even the best video messaging application, Snapchat is covering the story on its android platform.

Two days of the festival are over, which went out eventfully. Hope the third day culminates the big cultural endeavor in much grand way than it was opened.
