Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath wants govt authorities to start the work at the ₹36,410-crore Ganga Expressway from Meerut to Allahabad by one year from now.

An expected ₹9,255 crore will be spent towards securing, while ₹22,145 crore will go to common works. The thruway will go through twelve areas of Meerut, Bulandshahr, Hapur, Amroha, Sambhal, Badaun, Shahjahanpur, Hardoi, Unnao, Raebareli, Pratapgarh and Allahabad, as per the assertion.

Adityanath has requested to set up modern zones in every one of these areas, saying the framework improvement had been one of the first concerns of his administration.
