Indians Will Finally Stream Low Data Cost Videos At YouTube Go

Google recently launched YouTube Go Beta app in the country. Although, the app is not yet released on the Google Play Store and is currently in the beta version. People who have signed up for the beta version will get reach to its beta version.

YouTube Go has a specific purpose of helping users to save the videos in mobile so that they can view it offline and lessen the data consumption. The chief benefit of the app is that, it also allows the users to install the video in low-quality to save the data consumption. Apart from it the app also allows you to know the mobile data used while streaming and video downloading. According to the data consumption, it takes care of the internet usage by lowering the video quality to 64p.

To allow you to save on the mobile data, they have unique methodology. Although, there are two options “basic” and “standard”, but you will not be able to see the video in “720p” and “1080p”. This allows you to settle for the lower quality video and you can always look up to the YouTube app for this.

At a recent event, Google also made an important announcement about the YouTube Go during last September, but it took longer time than expected. They have extensively designed the app keeping Indian users in view. In this, they mainly paid attention to the low key internet connectivity in many parts of the country. The app projects, “a brand new app to download, enjoy and share videos…bind data udae!”

 

Some notable features of the YouTube Go are, “A quick preview function for users to get a quick preview of the video they watch. They can make sure before they want to watch it or save it”.

As ususal, the home-screen will be full of trendy videos and before you go on to save the app, it will aware you about the data usage it will require.

It extensively runs on many languages like Hindi, English, Bengali, Marathi, Tamil , Gujarati, Kannada and Indonesian.
