YouTube Is Getting Newer With Its Live TV Subscription Service

For some, video streaming means Youtube, which gives all luxuries of video streaming. Adapting with the changing times, YouTube is appearing as new subscription service called YouTube TV. Youtube TV is streaming video company which is owned by Google which was recently showcased at a press event in Los Angeles. The event happened on Tuesday afternoon in New York and San Francisco.

This new service will make available live TV content from around 40 networks which include four broadcast networks. This will also include some cable channels at the fee of $35.

The CEO of Youtube, Susan Wojcicki observed the changing behaviours of consumers and their TV watching habits and discussed it among the viewers. Wojcicki mentioned, “Younger generations want to consume TV the way that they’re used to watching TV online, live and on-demand”.

The news is certainly not new for many of millennial viewers out there as the rumours for this were already prevalent.

The most considerable thing about the subscription is that, YouTube even provides cable subscription with some limited channels at a much cheaper price.

While world is getting more on digital grounds, many companies are trying to put arduous efforts to provide even bigger than what they get money for.

They are choosing to have a multi dimensional facet with these distinct services. Here, providing cable channels is a big move towards consumer satisfaction. Moving the public away from conventional set top box hassles, they are aiming for cord-less over the top technology. With this, a large number of young population remain interested in catching up to their suitable shows.

The subscribers of the YouTube Red will have reach to premium video service which will be ceased from the normal site.

The service will have option of DVR with unlimited cloud storage.

The company is aiming to make this service available to smaller cities and will cover an extensive market in the future.
