Yuvi diagnosed with cancer
A life-turning incident happened in Yuvraj’s life. He was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in his left lung in 2011. It was painful time for Yuvi and his family. He underwent chemotherapy treatment and finally won the battle against Cancer and returned to India in April, 2012. He even wrote his autobiography describing his battle with cancer. His book named “The Test of My Life: From Cricket to Cancer and Back” impressed people.

Awards to Yuvraj
Talking about the awards, Yuvraj was honoured with Arjuna Award in 2012 by the Government of India. Arjuna awards are India’s second highest sporting award. In fact, the Padma Shri, India’s fourth highest civilian honour was conferred on Yuvi in 2014.

Achievements in Cricket 
In 2007, Yuvi was one of the top performers at ICC World Twenty. During 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup, Yuvraj Singh was the Man of the Tournament. He also became the first player to take a 5-wicket haul and score a 50 in the same World Cup match during 2011 ICC World Cup.

Yuvi’s Marriage
On 30 November, 2016, Yuvraj Singh got married to his girlfriend and actress Hazel Keech. They two were in relationship but didn’t try to hide it. In fact, Yuvi’s mother was quite excited for their relationship.
