- Flavored Punjabi Lassi
Lassi is to India what Smoothie is to America. A delicious summer beverage made from yogurt and milk cream, Lassi defines the essence of Punjab. The good thing is you can add different flavors to this drink by adding ingredients like saffron, cardamom powder and rose water to it. Just blend milk, yogurt, cream, sugar and one of these flavoring ingredients together to whip up this beauty! Top it with dry fruits and pomegranate seeds to enjoy a heavenly taste. - Neembu Shikanji
Cheap and easy to make, Nimbu Shikanji (Indian Lemonade) is our all time favorite. You just squeeze lemon into the glasses. Throw in mint juice, black salt, roasted cumin powder, black salt and sugar to prepare a fresh glass of lemonade. Add lots of ice cubes to feel the coolness.
