BJP Supremo Amit Shah files nomination from Gandhinagar, Shows of strength

Amid this election season in the country, Bharatiya Janata Party Chief Amit Shah today file his nomination from Gujrat’s Gandhinagar for upcoming Lok Sabha elections. NDA showed tremendous strength with a huge crowd of supporters and the highlight of the rally was the presence of Shiv Sena’s Uddav Thackeray. BJP and Shiv Sena will be joining hand in Maharashtra for Lok Sabha elections.

Other than Thackeray, SAD supremo Parkash Singh Badal, and LJP founder Ram Vilas Paswan will be present during party president Amit Shah’s filing of nomination from Gandhinagar Lok Sabha seat on Saturday. Union ministers Rajnath Singh and Nitin Gadkari will accompany Mr. Shah for the roadshow and when he files his documents.

The presence of the top BJP-led NDA brass at the event is being seen by observers as a show of support for Shah and an acknowledgment of him being the second most powerful leader in the alliance after Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The four-km roadshow started from Sardar Patel Statue in Naranpura area of Ahmedabad and reached at Patidar Chowk in Ghatlodia where leaders addressed mass.

The last date for filing nominations is April 4. Voting for all the 26 seats of Gujarat will take place on April 23.
