What is Fodder Scam?
Fodder scam is a collective term for a set of 64 cases. In 1985, CAG T.N. Chaturvedi sniffed out a possible embezzlement of funds from the Bihar Treasury and various departments. In 1996, the Patna High Court had ordered an inquiry into the fodder scam cases. A charge sheet was filed in the Deoghar treasury case. Since then the investigation is going on this case and verdict was awaited. In fact, Lalu faces charges on another three fodder scam cases.
