If you are a Jio user, you would be happy to hear the company’s new announcement. Taking the announcements made at the 41st AGM of the company forward, the company recently announced that the new phone can be purchased at Rs 501 on replacing it with the old phone in the JioPhone Monsoon Hungama offer. Jio has now also announced the YouTube, Facebook and WhatsApp support for the phone.
Note: This amount of Rs 501 is non-refundable. Only the amount deposited as security earlier is returnable. This would allow the buyers to purchase a new JioPhone in return for any old feature phone.
JioPhone Monsoon Hungama offer will kickstart from July 21. The company has announced all Jio phones as “effectively free” – this means that the phone comes at a zero cost. What it means is that you do not have to pay anything for the phone.
Those already in possession of the old phone already have Rs 1500 as deposit with Jio. This amount will be returned to the user after three years of purchasing the device. The new phone is not equipped with data and calling plans. The users will have to get a suitable recharge done on their Jio Phones.
The JioPhone Monsoon Hungama offer will kickstart from July 21. The Reliance Industries product and service Jio is the cushion on which the industry is posting highest ever profit volumes.
You can also pre-register for the JioPhone Monsoon Hungama offer. What you have to do to register is sign up for JioPhone Monsoon Hungama offer, or simply head to Jio.com or MyJio app. You will be required to enter important details like your first and last name, email, mobile number, Pin code.
You will also be asked to select one of the identity options – individual or Business. An email or SMS will be sent to you upon the confirmation of registration. Once the offer starts, you will be able to purchase the phone from a Jio store on furnishing your Aadhaar card and a passport size photograph.
