Mere Saamne wali Sarhad Pe

Relations between India and Pakistan have been complex due to a number of historical and political events. Since the partition of British India in 1947 and creation of modern republics of India and Pakistan, the two South Asian countries have been involved in four wars, including one undeclared war, as well as many border skirmishes and military standoffs. This year no sweets on Eid and Independence Day have been exchanged at Wagah due to terrorist activities in India. But the people of both countries shared their feelings through this song called ‘Mere Saamne wali Sarhad Pe’.
