Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked the people of India to show love and compassion towards the people of Kashmir and help in government’s quest of building a new Kashmir after the scrapping of article 370.
He was present at the last rally of the Mahajanadesh Yatra that was launched by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on August and addressed the public by saying “Earlier, the slogan used to be Kashmir Hamara hai [Kashmir is ours]. This must now change to Naya Kashmir banana hai [We must make a new Kashmir]. We have to once again build a paradise [in Kashmir]… hug each Kashmiri.”
Indian pm stressed on the fat that scrapping of Article 370 was a necessary step in helping Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh come out of the vicious cycle of militancy, violence, and corruption. “We had promised the country that we will make fresh attempts to resolve the issues affecting Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh. I can happily say today that the country is working towards fulfilling those dreams. It was not the decision of one government, but the wish of 1.3 crore Indians,” he addressed.
According to him the first 100 days of his government at the helm have been promising and performance was delivered as per expectations. “In the first 100 days, we have given a clear picture of what is to come in the next five years.”
He also said that attempts were made from across the border to disrupt this process of the government and opposition party also tried their level best to increase their vote bank from this situation but centre government has been successful in carrying out plans and will continue doing so for the development of the country.
