The conflict between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg has gotten more heated recently, especially since the release of Threads, a Twitter competitor. In particular, the cage battle between Musk and Zuckerberg—which was then postponed—was scheduled, according to Maye Musk, mother of the Twitter CEO.

The conflict between the two businesses has only gotten worse after the release of Threads, Meta’s newest social media platform. The Meta team’s marketing of their new programme as a “Twitter killer” and the fact that many members of the Threads team had previously worked for Twitter didn’t help.

Elon Musk threatened to sue Mark Zuckerberg in a letter delivered through his attorney Alex Spiro shortly after the release of Threads. Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk has charged Meta with “systematic, willful, and unlawful misappropriation of Twitter’s trade secrets and other intellectual property.”Twitter asserted that Meta hired a large number of former Twitter workers who were given the task of working on the Threads app but who had reportedly retained unapproved equipment and documents from their time there.

Although the tweet was shared by a fake account, Musk would have likely sent the Meta CEO a similar note. Musk responded, “Zuck is a cuck,” to a screenshot of a conversation between Zuckerberg and Wendys on the Threads app.

Zuckerberg’s emoji response to the burger chain’s request for the CEO of Meta to launch into space to enrage Musk was a laughing face.
