The top 10 Indian films and TV series of the year thus far have been released by the Internet Movie Database (IMDb), and despite the rise of streaming, two star-driven theatrical productions topped the list of films. The TV list was topped by the Shahid Kapoor-starring movie Farzi, even though Pathaan is currently the most well-liked Indian film of 2023.
Page views, a very basic metric, are used by IMDb to determine these lists. This list shouldn’t be interpreted as an assessment of these films’ quality, let alone its success at the box office or among critics.
