Siddhant Kapoor, actor Shakti Kapoor’s son, was arrested today for allegedly ingesting drugs at a Bengaluru hotel party, police claimed.
On Sunday night, Sidhhant Kapoor was invited as a DJ to a party held in the Park Hotel’s pub, where he allegedly ingested drugs.
Following a tip, authorities raided the hotel and took samples from roughly 35 guests for medical testing. In their test reports, six guests tested positive for drug use. Officials said Mr Kapoor was one among them.
Five other people have been arrested in addition to Mr Kapoor.
“Six people, including Siddhant Kapoor, have been arrested after they tested positive for drug use. The Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS) has been used to charge them all “District General of Police, East Division, Bheemashankar S Guled stated.
Mr Guled stated that all six of them will appear in court later today.
In 2020, the Narcotics Control Bureau questioned Siddhant’s sister Shraddha Kapoor about potential narcotics possession.
