Yes, we are talking about Indian Army, Indian Airforce, Indian Navy and the Indian Coastguard who act as India’s sword and shield to make some spectacular stellar contributions to civillian life.
We all know about the life of a Fauji, there are several Bollywood movies which are focussed on the life of a soldier like Tango Charlie, Border, LOC Kargil, Lakshaya,etc. They might come form the society but they definitely stand out from a crowd. Whether in uniform or in civils, these personality traits makes their identification easier:
- Hairstyle: We shouldn’t call it hairstyle rather only crewcut would be sufficient. The first thing about a Fauji is his crew cut. Only soldiers have the guts to carry such typical haircut but definitely they carry it with immense confidence.
- Attitude: Some traits like enthusiasm, positivity, engagement, upbeat and the professional attitude that the soldiers carry is something which totally makes them stand out of the crowd. They are very friendly and approachable.
- Time Management: They always have a purpose and there fast actions predict that clearly. They are clearly well aware about the importance of time and its management.
- Communication: They are always attentive, good listeners and give respect to everybody who is communicating with them.
- Abide all rules: Indian army always teaches their cadets to abide by all the rules and regulations of the country. They never violate any rules and regulations of the civilian society. He always leads his life with discipline.
- Professionalism: There are some very rare and unique personality traits that are only possessed by soldiers. They are reliable, creative and interesting in person. They are well mannered and show you the grace that you never knew,you had.
- Jargon: Their accent of language is totally different and every word comes out with a feeling of respect.
- Personality Grooming: The personality grooming of a soldier is quite impressive. whether he/she wear formals or an uniform, he is always very well turned out.
- Respect for every Religion: If you ever noticed a soldier, he respects each and every religion. Indian Military is one such organisation which is genuinely secular for all the religions.
- Every Other Person is a “Sir” or a ”Madam”: You can easily pick out a fauji by their over usage of “sir” and “ma’am.” It is a credit to our military’s discipline that a cashier receives the same clipped tones and politeness a four-star general would.
