A sudden global meltdown in crude prices from start of January 2015, has forced government to capitalize on reducing prices in India. This turned out to be a biggest joy of commuters in the country, as reduced prices on petrol and diesel lifted extra burden from their pockets.
A remarkable achievement from the space scientists of Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO): these scientists not only successfully orbited on Red planet, but also did so in very first attempt. With this effort India became the first country to enter mars orbit in first attempt, which remained a real proud moment for each and every countryman. This project was started under the governance of Indian National Congress, but was launched during Bhartiya Janta Party’s government.
Nobel Prize Recognition for India:
After the decade’s long campaign on Children’s right, Kailash Satyarthi became first Indian to get Nobel Prize in year 2014, this moment was a huge for each and every Indian. The proud moment was multiplied when Kailash Satyarthi also became first Indian to be felicitated with “Humanitarian of the year” by the Harvard Foundation in October 2015.
UN Announced 21 June as World Yoga Day:
India which is known for its tradition and culture globally, one of its oldest practices which is also known as Yoga was enlisted in United Nations Organization. The moment remained of utmost proud when UN has officially declared 21 June as a World Yoga Day. Credit of which resides with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi who as urged UN to add to add it in lists of important days.
India Received Billions of Dollar as Investment from Japan, Russia and China:
The out-come of Narendra Modi’s visits in number of countries across the world, has yielded investments worth billions of dollars in India from China, Russia and Japan.
