Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje who is popularly called as the ‘people’s leader’ envisioned ‘Aapki Zila, Aapki Sarkaar’ and started it after assuming chair in 2013. This programme revolves around the concept of assessing the district’s (Zila) developmental pace in coordination with what is claimed.  Usually, we criticize political leaders for claiming falsely and giving high hopes without delivering.

CM Raje eradicated the notion by actually going out there and overseeing what is happening and what is not. She paid surprise visits to many venues like hospital’s labour room, Annapurna Rasoi, Operation Theatre amongst other places. In cases of deficiency of services or poor service delivery, CM Raje didn’t hesitate to reprimand the concerned officials at the spot. These officials have been instructed to better their services, stop adulteration and give value for money to the general public.

When CM, paid a surprise visit to Aanganbadi Kendra Gudla II where she tested ‘Baby Food packets’ which claimed to weigh 750 gm. However, on weighing the packets, it was found to be weighing only 520 gm—250 gm less from the scripted weight. Raje was shocked to see such malpractices in the district. She immediately called up Women and Child Development Minister Anita Badhel and exhorted her to revoke the existing tender. This is how stern Chief Ministers get when cases of people fooling come into their knowledge.

Raje visited Zila Hospital…

CM Raje also visited a Zila hospital where she saw heaps of filth at the entrance. She rebuked the hospital officials and directed them to keep the hospital clean and hygienic. She also visited the labour room, the Operation theatre in the hospital to check if they are adequately equipped.

An Update from the ration Shops…

Vasundhara Raje stopped by at a ration shop in the district where she inspected the Stock register and the PoS machine operations. CM Raje also queried with the shop’s customer named Banta Devi about the PoS and asked if she is satisfied with the government schemes. Banta Devi blatantly said that she was facing trouble with using Bhamashah card due to her son’s name seeded into the Bhamashah registers.
