Former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee has turned 93 today and leaders from across the country are sending their wishes for him. This day is also observed as ‘Good Governance Day’ since 2014 in the honor of the Bharat Ratna Awardee. He is the only non-Congress leader who completed the five-year term as the PM of India.
He is known for his exemplary leadership, his oratory, and the powerful speeches in Lok Sabha won everyone’s heart. Even his adversaries used to laud him and respect him despite the political rivalry. He is undoubtedly one of the rare politicians who is loved and adored by everyone alike.
On this auspicious occasion, BJP workers performed Hawan in Kanpur and prayed for Atalji’s good health. His residence at Krishna Menon Marg has also been adorned with flowers. PM Modi along with ministers like Rajnath Singh, Vijay Goel, and Amit Shah visited him personally to wish him on his 93rd birthday.
