Bollywood actors Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor put the ramp on fire at the 2018 Mijwan Fashion Show. The duo walked the ramp in the ensemble designed by ace designer Manish Malhotra. Both Ranbir and Deepika looked stunning as showstoppers in the show. Ranbir Kapoor had collaborated with Mijwan in 2014 and walked the ramp for Mijwan in that year.
The attire of these stars is enough to make someone look regal. Deepika’s lehenga choli with floral motifs and heavy embroidery made her look resplendent. Talking about Ranbir, he was looking charismatic in black bandhgala. This year, the event showcased the exquisite craft of chikankari.

Mahnish Malhotra felt good about Ranbir and Deepika walking the ramp for Rijwan. This project is very close to Manish’s heart. He further shared his excitement to showcase Summer 2018 collection spotlighting the art of Chikankari.
Mijwan Welfare society
Mijwan Welfare society is an NGO run by Shabana Azmi. This year, it is the ninth edition of the walk. This organization is founded by her late father Kaifi Azmi.

The event was supposed to be held on April 9 but it was postponed to April 19 as both Deepika and Ranbir had fallen ill. Other celebs who were present at the show are Shabana Azmi, Javed Akhtar, Mouni Roy, Neetu Kapoor, Kriti Kharbanda, Poonam Dhillon, Saqib Saleem, Pulkit Samrat and Yami Gautam.
