Delhi cop and auto rickshaw driver went door-to-door to help a child

We often hear stories of frauds that convince little innocent children to go with them by giving them some toys and chocolates/ice creams. Later we read in newspapers or hear in news that people sell off such innocent children further for human trafficking, sexual abuse etc. That is horrifying and thus every parent keeps an eye on their children now a day’s wherever they are.  But as they cannot be present everywhere, these con men find a chance.

Such an incident happened in the capital city of Delhi lately where a 3 year old innocent Parul was lured away by a man in the name of some chocolates and toys and he walked away 2 kilometres from his house but found no one there. Later the boy went to an auto-rickshaw and said that he is looking for his parents. When the driver asked him about where do his parents live, he started crying his lungs out. His father died 2 years back and since then his mother started living away from the family. He here in Delhi lived with his grandfather.

After hearing to the story of the little child, the auto-rickshaw driver turned to the constable Dharmendra who had just come in the area for his regular patrol duty. The constable further informed about the incident to his senior and according to his orders started looking for the child’s home with the auto-rickshaw driver.

Left with no other option, they went door to door in the Block A,B and C in the Kalkaji Region where the kid resided. Finally after a while, they met an old man who recognised the kid and showed them the way. Following his directions, the duo successfully handed over the kid to his grandfather who too was waiting eagerly with teary eyes for him to return.

DCP Mandeep Singh Randhawa said that the constable shall be soon awarded for the great work he did also ensuring the safety of the innocent child. If he wouldnot have been there to help the rickshaw driver and the kid, worse could have happened.

We bow to the efforts of the duo!
