Raanjhanaa fame Dhanush has sure a big surprise in store for all his fans and followers. The actor has now revealed the poster from his international flick. Dhanush’s much-anticipated Hollywood debut film The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir has created a lot of buzz in the film industry with a feisty poster. The poster removed the suspense about the movie and gave a little sneak peek into the film.

Dhanush is looking like a handsome gentleman in the first look of the film. The film appears to be a well-etched story with minute details giving way to intensified fun and likeability for the film. The film will be co-starring Berenice Bejo – the Oscar-nominated actress of The Artist. 

Directed by Ken Scott, the film is based on a critically-acclaimed book The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir, by Romain Puertolas. The poster showcases IKEA wardrobe in the backdrop with all co-stars having their own share of fun and drama.

The film started shoot schedules earlier this year and has captured a myriad of places. From shooting in Paris (France) to Rome (Italy), Dhanush’s film has been shot in the Indian lands of Mumbai. A part of the film is also shot in Brussels (Belgium).

The shooting of this Dhanush’s Hollywood debut film went on the floors earlier this year and it was shot in places like Mumbai (India), Brussels (Belgium), Rome (Italy) and Paris (France) among other locations.

About the book and the film, director Scott told a leading magazine:  “The book was a huge success. It was sold in 36 countries. It’s a bestseller. There’s many aspects that interested me, there’s obviously comedy, a lot of comedy, some very poetic moments. It’s the story of this magician/thief who grew up in this small neighbourhood in Mumbai, India, he sets sail on this journey of self-discovery throughout Europe.”

The film’s release date has not been announced yet but audience India and worldwide look forward to this movie which will potentially pique everyone’s interest.
