Revenue Department just saw some strict enforcement of the good governance principle. According to, the employees who have not been performing well, do not deserve to be a part of the Central Government. Yes, the stats says that the from the finance department 72 tax officers have been expelled and 33 others have been given premature retirement.
Such a decision has been taken on behalf of a two year record which is a proof of these employees’ non performance and indiscipline. Also it’s not just this time, as previously 33 officers of the Indian Revenue Services were prematurely retired for their non-performing tenure and with them other 72 were dismissed in other departments as well.
“The strict action has been taken against erring officials to fix their accountability and ensure proper functioning of the system” states the Finance Department to the media.
For the first time, strict action taken against defaulting & nonperforming Revenue officials.
