Fire breaks out in Patna-Mokama passenger express train; No casualties

On the early hours of Wednesday, fire broke out in four bogies and an engine of Patna-Mokama Passenger train. This train runs between Patna and Mokama and reached the Mokama railway station at 10.30 pm. The incident happened at the Mokama railway station where railway staff noticed that the train going up in flames.

Soon the fire came in notice of the employees, the Railway staff rushed to extinguish the fire but it didn’t help. This train was to be moved to the yard for cleaning but the fire broke out.

It is a great thing that no casualty or injuries took so far. And the fire has been brought under control. In fact, the railways services have not been impacted. The information has been given by the spokesperson of East Central Railway, Rajesh Kumar.

The railway authorities are taking measures to normalise the situation after the fire. Talking about the reason behind the fire in the coaches of Patna-Mokama passenger train, there is no information obtained from the officials.
