Here are the reasons why we lose on our FRIENDS!

reasons why we lose friends

Friendship is the most beautiful relationship out of all. You cry together, you laugh together, you study together, you win you lose together. Friendship marks a life even more deeply than love. A friend enters your life when you least expect and stays forever by your side no matter what you come across. Friendship is synonym to understanding and care and that’s the beauty of this relationship.

But not all friends are meant to stay. We all have went through a phase in our lives where we thought a friend would last for a lifetime but then suddenly something goes wrong and we lose upon such friends due to misunderstanding, ego or arguments. If you are also wondering why we lose on our friends who we thought would stay by our side forever then this is for you. Here we list out a few reasons probably why we lose on our close friends as we move ahead in our lives:

1.Priorities Change: We often tend to realise it later that we have stopped spending more time with our friends as we got busy with our work, higher education, jobs, family etc. and eventually we see that we have actually stopped talking to friends we talked with for hours.

2.Personal Relationships: Sometimes it happens that we lose our friends because we no more indulge them in our lives as we have ‘someone special’ now to deal with. People move ahead with their personal relationships make girlfriends/boyfriends and slowly and gradually drive apart their best friends.

3. Jealousy: It happens quite a few times that you make new friends probably at your work place, your new institutes or at you new college and forget getting in touch regularly with the former friends. This feeling of being left out or being taken over by other ‘new friends’, usually make people step backwards in friendships.

4. Some are just toxic: We often fail at identifying the real nature of people at first. They make good friends but eventually you realise their effect in your life and where is it taking you. Then is the time when you realise to pull back your hands of friendship from them.

5. No efforts from another end: It happens a times when you feel like its only you who are making efforts to hold on to the friendship and the next person is not actually interested in taking it ahead in life. You then stop making those efforts and the next person just does not care about that and it ends.

Humans can be wrong and especially when it comes at judging people and involving them in lives. Always remember that not every friend is meant to stay forever. Just learn to let them go and move on with the quality people you are left with. Everything happens for a reason!
