Gujiya
The festival of Holi is incomplete without this sweet. This special sweet is Gujiya. Made of plain flour, mawa and dry fruits, Gujiyas are sweet dumplings. These are Mouth-watering delicacies that make you crave for more. You can make various kinds of gujiyas like chocolate gujiya, coconut gujiya and baked gujiya.

For Holi, Papri Chat makes an amazing snack. These are thin and crispy papris made of plain flour. These papris are coated in curd and spices like cumin powder, chilli powder, salt and balcksalt are sprinkled. Garnish them with sev namkeen and coriander leaves.

This is also an amazing delicacy one should try at Holi. Malpuas are so yummy that you love to eat them more and more. These are sort of Indian pancake. Malpuas are fried in ghee then coated in sugar syrup. You can also garnish it with cream and dry fruits.

When the festival of Holi comes then the first thing that strikes your mind is thandai. It is a special drink prepared for Holi. It is also customary to drink Thandai on this festival. Thandai can be prepared by various recipes. As few like to drink kesariya thandai, few badam and few saunf so you can make as per your wish.

Kanji Vada
This is one of the delicious snacks to be consumed on the occasion of Holi. These are fried balls of lentil batter, mustard and asafoetida along with other spices. These balls are soaked into a pot of water overnight. The water contains spices like rai, salt, red chili powder and turmeric. Serve it chill.
