Get a Chance to Experience the Hard Life of Indian Soldiers, Be a Part of the ‘Know your Army’ Campaign…
‘Know your Army’ campaign organized by the brave soldiers of India, inspired the youth to live, appreciate, and experience the glorious army life. Our soldiers sacrifice material comforts for the safety of our nation. They put in relentless efforts to secure the borders against enemy attacks, and we can’t help but admire them for this. The nationwide campaign aims at encouraging youngsters to join the Indian Army. Surprisingly, it wasn’t just the youth, but also the parents that zealously participated in this event.
Here are some glimpses from ‘Know your Army’ drive.
The army organized this event at various locations all over India, including Malar (Jammu & Kashmir), Shivaji Park (Mumbai), Mysore & Bengaluru (Karnataka), Ahmedabad (Gujarat).
Timid schools girl from Malar in Kishtwar district were mesmerized by the guns displayed by the army men.
Students from different schools participated in a group discussion where they shared their queries with the allied armed officials.
The officers at Mysore base camp gave a live demonstration of the famous Israeli Tavor assault rifle. For those who don’t know, the rifle is equipped with night vision lens and helps our soldier focus on the target in the absence of light.
The officers exhibited their specialized weapons at the exhibition: T22 battle tank, 84-mm Rocket Launcher belonging to the 10 Assam Infantry Battalion, Anti-Tank Guide Missile Sniper Rifle, Insas Rifle, and an automatic Grenade Launcher.
The soldiers conducted drills and exercises to impress an overwhelmed crowd. They took this opportunity to train aspiring army candidates.
Even parents and the elderly were mesmerized by this glorious display. We’re proud of Indian Army!
