Mumbai based entrepreneur, Sandip Modi has recently acquired Street Jumper. It’s a hyper local delivery start up which was trying to give an extra edge to Jaipur’s needs to deliver goods more efficiently. It came to existence in November month of 2014 when the founders, Tarin Poddar and Abhishek Chadha came together to bring a faster mode and improve how delivery process works.
Exact transactional details have not been disclosed yet, but the deal has been completed through an all cash mode.
The moment buyers are acknowledged with the knows and hows of this startup, the founders will have no rights over it. Street Jumper helps its users to get their stuff to move from one place to another. The mobile app enables all the users to connect them with delivery boys, which the company prefers to call “Jumper”, who give custom-made delivery service. The mobile app is available on Android and iOS platform.
Street Jumper offers to deliver food, grocery, stationery, electronics medicines, clothes, etc. and its prices starts at Rs. 20 which, goes up depending upon your distance and time one process takes. It the capability of the start up to run bootstrapped and even then processing over 250 orders a day is one good accomplishment at their side. It showcases how strong their business models are. One can easily foresee a definite long run success for them and all these pro points must be in Sandip Modi’s mind before purchasing this business.
