Karan Johar becomes first Bollywood filmmaker to make it to Madame Tussauds

Karan Johar is a multitalented personality. He is not only director and producer but also an actor, TV host and RJ. KJo is happy about this honour received at coveted Madame Tussauds Museum in London. He has become the first Bollywood filmmaker to get his wax statue fix at the museum. The Twitter account of Dharma production spoke out loud about this today’s morning. Then KJo himself shared his delight on the Twitter account.

Filmmaker Karan Johar’s wax statue will be made with the combination of traditional sculpting and modern-day technology. As per the reports, Karan’s measurements were taken by Madame Tussauds’ creative directors and the Merlin Studios in London last Thursday when he visited the UK. In fact, his statue will be unveiled first in London and then go out for tour across Asia.

Karan Johar has recently announced his dream project, Kalank. The movie is starring Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapoor. The film releases on 19 April, 2019.

Madame Tussauds Wax Museum
Founded by wax sculptor Marie Tussaud, it is a wax museum in London, UK. Known as Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, it houses wax statues of famous celebrities from various walks of life. It is undoubtedly an honour to the celebs whose wax statues are placed in Tussauds. Till now, various Bollywood celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor have got their wax statues immortalised in the museum.
