Life of L K Advani
Mr. Lal Krishna Advani was born on 8 November 1927. Undoubtedly, he is one of the co-founder of Bharatiya Janata Party. Advani began his political career as a volunteer of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, a right-wing Hindu nationalist organisation.
He has served as the 7th Deputy Prime Minister of India from 2002 to 2004. From 1998 to 2004, L K Advani was Minister of Home Affairs in the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance government. In the 10th and 14th Lok Sabha, he was the Leader of the Opposition. In 2014, he was included in the Marg Darshak Mandal of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Celebration with visually challenged children
This year, the veteran leader will serve the breakfast to 90 visually challenged children. As per a statement, he will start the day by “serving and sharing” breakfast and celebrate his birthday. It is also expected that many top BJP leaders will visit him on his birthday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party president Amit Shah may come to wish L K Advani on his 90th birthday.
